The Digestive system of a man includes the mouth, oesophagus,stomach,duodenum, small intestine or ileum, caecum, appendix,large intestine,rectum and anus.
The mouth is the foundation of the system in which we have the teeth,tongue(for primary breakdown of food),and the salivary gland,which secrets an enzyme known as PTYLIN.To help break down food molecules .
OESOPHAGUS is a connection of the mouth to the stomach.
The stomach is the temporal storage of food where it converts it to a semi liquid State called Chyme..
DUODENUM, here digestion also commence.. the DUODENUM contains Pancreas which secrets PANCREATIC JUICE,That contains three enzymes
1.AMYLASE
2.LIPASE
3.TRYPSIN
